mmi IsolationCaps

The cap of a standard tube is filled with an adhesive coated silicon material which adheres to the membrane when they are brought into contact with each other. The isolated cell is located on the opposite side of the membrane and so will never touch the cap. During dissection the sample is completely protected from contamination as it is sandwiched between membrane and glass slide!

MMI provide three sizes of mmi IsolationCaps. These tubes are available with either a transparent or diffuser cap. While diffuser caps are ideal for stained samples, transparent caps are preferred for fluorescence applications or when using the mmi SmartCut Plus. Also, cell cores look more dominant in contrast to the cell walls when using transparent caps.

If you need to collect different cells in different tubes you can cut from up to three mmi MembraneSlides and collect into them in a mmi 8-cap strip used in conjunction with the mmi Multi CapLift.
